	</p><p>Denne uge kan Kevin Magnussen blive kåret som<a title="Kevin Magnussen nomineret til DIFs Årets Fund-pris" href="http://racemag.dk/2011/12/21/kevin-magnussen-nomineret-til-difs-arets-fund-pris/" target="_blank"> Årets Fund 2011 i Danmark</a>. Men også internationalt er der hæder til den 19-årige Roskilde-kører.</p>
<p>Britiske Autosport har i deres årlige kåring af de 50 topnavne inden for motorsport på fire hjul taget den nu tidligere F3-kører med på listen på baggrund af meritterne fra det britiske F3-mesterskab.</p>
<p>Her blev Kevin Magnussen som bekendt toer i mesterskabet, og det har sikret ham en plads som nummer 44 på listen, der toppes af F1-verdensmester Sebastian Vettel.</p>
<p>Det skriver DASU i deres nyhedsbrev.</p>
<p>Magnussen er, udover at være den eneste dansker på listen, også den yngste af de 50. <a href="http://2011top50drivers.autosport.com/" target="_blank">Du kan se listen her &#8211; forudsat, at du har abonnement på Autosport.</a></p>

<p>Kevin Magnussen var involveret i et crash med William Buller med to omgange igen &#8211; et voldsomt uheld, hvor Magnussen blev luftbåren på langsiden, hvor formelracerne når 270 km/t.</p>
<p>Se videoen her &#8211; Magnussens uheld sker omkring 22 minutter inde i indslaget. Der er dog (eller heldigvis) ikke billeder af selve uheldet.</p>
<p>Magnussen klarede sig med et forslået ben og forskrækkelsen.</p>

	</p><p>Kevin Magnussens debut i Macau sluttede flyvende &#8211; lidt for flyvende.</p>
<p>Den unge formelkører var tæt på mål i kamp om 7. pladsen, da han blev sendt på en lufttur og hårdt ind i fanghegnet omkring bybanen. Efter uheldet er danskeren glad for at være i live.</p>
<p>- Jeg er rigtig glad for at være i live lige nu. Jeg var ved at overhale William Buller, da han trak ind foran mig. Bilen lettede og ramte sikkerhedshegnet. Da jeg røg op i luften lukkede jeg øjnene, så jeg ved ikke rigtig, hvad der skete. Jeg bliver nød til at se video af ulykken for helt at forstå, hvad der skete, siger Kevin Magnussen i en pressemeddelelse.</p>
<p>Magnussen kunne selv kravle ud af bilen, der havde været flere meter over asfalten &#8211; dog med et forslået ben.</p>
<p>Teamejer Trevor Carlin havde umiddelbart efter løbet svært ved kun at være begejstret over, at hans brasilianske kører Nasr havde sikret teamet en andenplads.</p>
<p>- For at være helt ærlig, så var vores følelse efter løbet mest lettelse over, at Kevin var OK efter det store uheld. Det viser, hvor stærke bilerne er, at han slap med et forslået ben efter sådan et dramatisk uheld, sagde Trevor Carlin efter løbet.</p>

	</p><p>Spanske Daniel Juncadella vandt søndag Macau GP.</p>
<p>Endnu en gang blev et løb i den tidligere portugisiske koloni hæmmet af flere afbrydelser. Allerede på startgridden gik det galt, da Roberto Merhi stallede sin bil og blev ramt bagfra.</p>
<p>Kevin Magnussen, der havde kørt sig noget frem i feltet i forhold til startplaceringen som sidste mand, ramte i starten en konkurrent, men kunne fortsætte.</p>
<p>Lørdagens vinder Marco Wittmann førte an til at starte med, men efter genstarten pressede Valtteri Bottas kraftigt på. På femte omgang satser finnen dog for meget, rammer muren ved Lisboa og udgår.</p>
<p>Kort efter kom safetycaren ud igen, og her kunne Juncadella overhale Wittmann, der ramlede ned som firer i slipstreaming-kampene. Wittmann kom dog tilbage på tredjepladsen bag Felipe Nasr, og der var lagt i kakkelovnen til en spændende afslutning.</p>
<p>Den blev dog forpurret med to omgange igen, da flere biler kørte sammen på langsiden – heriblandt Kevin Magnussen, der kæmpede med om placeringerne lige uden for top 5.</p>
<p>Løbet sluttede bag safetycar med Juncadella foran Nasr og Wittmann. Magnussen blev klassificeret som 14. efter en uheldsramt weekend.</p>

	</p><p>Marco Wittmann kontrollerede kvalifikationsløbet i Macau GP fra start og tog sejren i løbet, der blev kørt lørdag morgen dansk tid.</p>
<p>Bag tyskeren, der kører fra franske Signature, var det mere begivenhedsrigt. Antonio da Costa stallede i starten fra sin anden startposition. Inden da var Alexander Sims crashet på sin outlap fra pitten.</p>
<p>Kevin Magnussen startede fint fra sin sidste startposition og arbejdede sig op gennem rækkerne til en 19. plads i mål.</p>
<p>Det kunne måske være blevet til mere, men på 9. omgang crashede Jimmy Eriksson hårdt, og safetycaren kom på banen til løbets slutning.</p>
<p>Den britiske mester Felipe Nasr sluttede toer foran Roberto Merhi, der var en af forhåndsfavoritterne. En straf efter kvalifikationen til spanieren betød dog hårdt arbejde i løbet.</p>

	</p><p>Tyske Marco Wittmann fortsætter i fronten af Macau GP, hvor tyskeren fra Signature-teamet satte pole position foran en anden frontrunner, Roberto Merhi.</p>
<p>Q2 til Macau GP’s første løb blev kørt i tørt vejr og gjorde dermed torsdagens våde session nærmest ligegyldig, da det er den hurtigste tid fra de to sessioner, der er tællende til kvalifikations-racet lørdag.</p>
<p>Antonio Felix da Costa var tredjehurtigst foran Valtteri Bottas, Alexander Sims, Felipe Nasr og Kevin Magnussen.</p>
<p>Mini Mag var 7/10 sekund efter Wittmanns poletid, men efter straf fra torsdagens session starter danskeren uanset bagerst.</p>

	</p><p>Kevin Magnussen kommer ud for et karakteropbyggende løb lørdag, når det går løs med Macaus Grand Prix.</p>
<p>Et utal af straffe er blevet uddelt efter kvalifikationen, hvor blandt andre polesitter Roberto Merhi har fået en straf på tre placeringer for at have krydset den hvide linje ved pitexit.</p>
<p>Men også den danske kører er straffet. Under kvalifikationen ramte Magnussen Felix Rosenqvists racer, da svenskeren var involveret i et uheld med netop Merhi. Magnussen kunne fortsætte, men løbsledelsen takserede det til en straf, så han uanset resultatet af anden kvalifikation, der afvikles fredag, starter bagerst.</p>
<p>- Jeg synes, jeg er blevet straffet alt for hårdt. Det var en meget let berøring, men da det skete under gule flag, mente løbsledelsen altså, at jeg skulle idømmes den hårde straf. Det er selvfølgelig rigtig, rigtig ærgerligt. Jeg føler mig godt tilpas i gaderne og havde virkelig satset på et topresultat, men det bliver svært nu. Men med lidt held, god løbsfart og masser af overhalinger, kan jeg måske stadig nå langt op i feltet, siger Magnussen i en pressemeddelelse</p>

<p>Det var igen en våd session, hvor det var essentielt at være på banen på det rette tidspunkt. Merhi satte bedste tid med uhørte 1,6 sekund til Marco Wittmann, der var hurtigst i den indledende træning.</p>
<p>To afbrydelser grundet afkørsler satte krav til timingen i en session, hvor forholdene blev værre som tiden gik.</p>
<p>Den britiske mester Felipe Nasr var tredjehurtigst. Daniel Juncadella og Alexander Sims runder top fem af.</p>
<p>Kevin Magnussen sluttede med en 14. bedste tid, 4,4 sekunder efter Merhi. Magnussen var blandt de kørere, der blev fanget af de stadigt dårligere betingelser.</p>
<p>Vejret over casinobyen blev så dårligt, at kvalifikation til roadracing-løbet er udsat til fredag.</p>

	</p><p>Kevin Magnussen sluttede med sjettebedste tid i træningen til Macau Grand Prixet.</p>
<p>Danskeren var Carlins hurtigste, mens Lucas Foresti var bedste fra det britiske mesterskab.</p>
<p>Hurtigst var Marco Wittmann, der var massive 1,8 sekunder bedre end Daniel Juncadella. Japanske Yuhi Sekiguchi var treer foran Roberto Merhi.</p>
<p>Sessionen blev kørt på en våd Guia Circuit. Det var en stille affære indtil et stykke inde i sessionen, som blev afbrudt først da Yasuda stod stille i hårnålen, siden da Felix Rosenqvist måtte tage autoværnet til hjælp, da han kørte uden om en kø af biler også i Melco Hairpin.</p>

	</p><p>En andenplads i det sidste løb i Cooper Tires British Formula 3 International Series sikrede Kevin Magnussen sig andenpladsen i den samlede stilling.</p>
<p>Den unge Carlin-kører endte toer efter Carlos Huertas &#8211; nærmeste konkurrent i stillingen &#8211; der gik forbi danskeren i starten.</p>
<p>Andenpladsen kommer efter en sæson præget af tekniske uheld og en stribe sejre. Men Magnussen tager en masse med sig fra den forgangne sæson.</p>
<p>- Jeg er glad for at blive toer efter et hårdt år, da jeg har har haft mange dårlige løb i år. Jeg har lært så meget, og det har været en god erfaring, som jeg kan tage med til næste sæson. Dette er første gang, jeg er sluttet på podiet uden at vinde. Det er en lektie, tror jeg. At alt tæller, og man tage hvad man kan og være tålmodig, siger Kevin Magnussen i en pressemeddelelse.</p>
