	</p><p>Kevin Magnussen satte en top 10-tid i sin første testsession i GP2, da feederklassen i dag testede på Circuit de Catalunya.</p>
<p>Carlin-køreren endte hurtigere end teamets vanlige GP2-kører med 9. bedste tid, 4/10 sekund efter svenske Marcus Ericsson i iSport-teamet.</p>
<p>Svenskeren satte dagens bedste tid i formiddagens session, mens Tom Dillmann, som Magnussen kørte mod i tysk F3 i 2010, var hurtigst om eftermiddagen.</p>
<p>Her var Magnussen langsommere end om formiddagen og endte som nummer 17 af 26 kørere.</p>

	</p><p>Kevin Magnussen har netop lavet aftale med Carlin-teamet og kører Formula Renault 3.5 i 2012 – men nu får den unge Roskilde-kører første smag på en GP2-racer. Det allestedsnærværende team satser fortsat massivt på GP2, og her har teamet valgt at hive Magnussen ind som tester i denne uges todages test på banen nord for Barcelona.</p>

<p>Modsat de to andre kørere vil Magnussen være i bilen begge dage.</p>
<p>- Max skal fortsætte den gode udvikling, som vi tog hul på i Jerez (ved seneste test, red.) for at gøre os stærkere til næste sæson. Det bliver godt at have en anden erfaren GP2-kører som Jolyon i bilen, og vi ser frem til hans feedback. Vi ved, at Kevin er en meget hurtig kører i Barcelona. Det bliver meget interessant at se, hvor hurtigt han vænner sig til GP2-racerens krav over de to dage, siger teamejer Trevor Carlin.</p>

	</p><p>Når GP2 Series kører det enkeltstående event på Yas Marina Circuit den 12.-13. november, så lover dækleverandøren nu en pengesum til bedste GP3-talenter i serien.</p>
<p>Det forventes, at flere kørere og teams vil prøve hinanden af i løbene i Abu Dhabi, og den italienske dækproducent stiller i alt 25.000 euro  på højkant.</p>
<p>For at kunne indkassere skal GP3-kørerne dog slutte i pointene &#8211; bedste af dem, der eventuelt slutter i top seks i sprintløbet og top otte hovedløbet, kan pakke 15.000 euro med i bagagen. Næstbedste tager de resterende 10.000.</p>

	</p><p>GP2 Asia Series og GP2 Series bliver fra den kommende sæson ét mesterskab.</p>
<p>De to serier, der er fra 2008 og 2005 respektivt, har de senere år nærmet hinanden sig mere og mere, og det får nu organisationen bag til at slå dem sammen til én serie.</p>
<p>Tidligere kørte forskellige teams i de to serier, ligesom også især GP2 Asia Series tjente som en slags vinterserie og træning af kommende GP2-kørere.</p>
<p>Med GP2 Asia Series-finalen i 2011, der blev afviklet i Italien, kom kulminationen på en udvikling, der fjernede grundlaget for at bevare to separate serier.</p>
<p>Den 12.-13. november bliver der afviklet en ’finale’ uden for sæsonen i Abu Dhabi (foto), hvor der vil være en pengepræmie og mulighed for at teste nye talenter af.</p>
<p>2012-kalenderen vil dermed indeholde både europæiske og oversøiske løb. Kalenderen er dog ikke klar endnu.</p>

	</p><p>Dani Clos tog starten og sejren i sprintløbet på Imola, der afsluttede den lidt amputerede GP2 Asia Series-sæson. På den absolut ikke-asiatiske bane kunne spanieren vinde for Racing Engineering efter at have stukket af i starten.</p>
<p>Fairuz Fauzy startede ellers fra pole position, men en dårlig start kostede føringen. Malaysia-køreren bakkede så meget, at han forårsagede et uheld, hvor titelkandidaten Jules Bianchi ramte ham under nedbremsningen. Det kostede chancerne for franskmanden, der dermed måtte overlade titlen til sin landsmand Romain Grosjean (foto), der sluttede firer.</p>

<p>Her dominerede DAMS-køreren og sejrede foran Giedo van der Garde, mens Jules Bianchi blev treer.</p>
<p>Slutter Grosjean foran Bianchi i søndagens sprintløb, så kan han kåres som GP2 Asia-mester for anden gang.</p>

	</p><p>Siden Bahrain trak sig som finaleløb i GP2 Asia, har arrangørerne arbejdet hårdt de sidste to uger, for at finde en erstatning. Den er nu fundet. Sæsonafslutningen skal køres på den legendariske Imola-bane i San Marino. Løbet finder sted i weekenden 18. til 20. marts.</p>
<p>Alt udsyr og alle biler blev fløjet til Europa, da løbet i Bahrain blev aflyst, og derfor var det vigtigt at finde et sted for løbet, inden den første test forud for den &#8220;rigtige&#8221; GP2-serie finder sted 5. og 6. april på Silverstone.</p>
<p>Administrerende direktør i GP2 series, Bruno Michel sagde:<br />
<em> &#8220;Jeg ved, at det er helt skørt at Imola bliver føjet til GP2 Asia kalenderen, men de særlige omstændigheder tvang os prøve at finde den bedste løsning for holdene, kørerne og fans. Det var vigtigt for alle at have en sidste runde med, og da testene snart begynder i Europa giver det logistiske udfordringer, der betød at vi måtte finde en europæisk bane. Vi var nødt til at være hurtige, og vi er glade for at vende tilbage til Imola. Det nye layout og infrastruktur gør det til det perfekte sted som vært for sidste runde af 2011-GP2 Asia Series&#8221;</em></p>
<p>Imola var den første bane, der nogenside var vært for et GP2 løb. Det skete i 2005, hvor Heikki Kovalainen og Adam Carroll vandt de to løb. Sidst GP2 var på banen, var i 2006.</p>

	</p><p>GP2 Asia Series aflyser nu anden afdeling i mesterskabet, der efter planen skulle være kørt på Bahrain International Circuit i denne weekend.</p>
<p>Tidligere havde GP2-organisationen flyttet rundt på sessionerne grundet mangel på læger i området. Nu melder serien så, at afdelingen er aflyst.</p>
<p>Årsagen er urolighederne i emiratet, hvor demonstrationer mod den royale familie har ført til hårde kampe mellem demonstranter og politi.</p>
<p>Endnu advarer Udenrigsministeriet ikke mod rejser til ørkenstaten, men F1-sæsonåbneren om mindre end en måned kan også være i fare.</p>

	</p><p>Stefano Coletti klarer skiftet fra GP3 til GP2 Asia Series umiddelbart til UG. En god start sikrede Monaco-køreren en solid føring i sprintløbet i Abu Dhabi, og den føring hold Trident Racings nye håb.</p>
<p>Coletti kunne køre mod det ternede flag uvidende om de mange kampe bag ham. Josef Kral tog andenpladsen foran svenske Marcus Ericsson, hvis iSport-kollega Sam Bird stod af kort før mål.</p>
<p>Fredagens vinder, Jules Bianchi, kunne overhale Davide Valsecchi til fjerdepladsen. Før det havde han være involveret i kampe med bl.a. Romain Grosjean, der blev klippet af banen af Michael Herck.</p>

	</p><p>Løbet blev kørt på Yas Marina Circuit i Abu Dhabi og blev vundet af en debutant i klassen. Franskmanden Jules Bianchi startede som nummer to, men var bedre i starten end landsmanden Romain Grosjean, der startede på pole. Davide Velsecchi blev nummer tre.</p>
<p>Starten af løbet var præget af dramatik, da Dani Clos blev holdende på hans plads som nummer fire. Næsten hele feltet undveg den stillestående bil, men det nåede Liuz Razia ikke. Han kørte op bag i Dani Clos’ bil og kom på en flyvetur, for til sidst at ramme en mur. Løbet blev herefter afbrudt, da der lå dele af de ødelagte biler udover det hele. Nordmanden Pål Varhaug blev også ramt af uheldet.</p>
<p>Efter genstarten var det stadig Bianchi i front. Under hele løbet var han under pres fra Grosjean, der flere gange skred ud og hentede det tabte igen. Grosjean fik dog aldrig held til at overhale Bianchi, der kørte et fejlfrit løb.</p>
